It is a full moon tonight, let’s hope that the rain stops and the cloud clears so that we can see her in all her glory.
Now is an ideal time to cleanse all your crystals. Simply leave them out under the full moon and they will be cleansed and re-charged with the moon energy.
You can also make moon water by leaving out some water in a suitable container overnight. You can then benefit from the moon energy through the moon charged water.
I also cleanse any jewellery that I wear frequently such as the one enclosed that is available in my shop. I then feel that I am benefiting from that moon energy as I wear it around my neck. There is more information about the moon on my main website.

Summer solstice blessings to you all. We were blessed with a clear dawn, the grass fresh with dew, the birds singing their midsummer songs. The sunset was a spectacular sight with curving cirrus clouds creating a lacey blanket across the purple blue sky.

I’m only going to write a few words as pictures speak louder! Clive and I went to Beltane at Glastonbury this year, the third year we have been and it is just as magical. The celebration started with a ceremony in the Goddess Temple which was beautiful and uplifting. We didn’t see the sunrise in this time but went to the Chalice Well Gardens for the Beltane Fire ceremony at 7.30. From then we went onto maypole dancing and by then were ready for our scrambled egg breakfast at The Blue Note. The afternoon was filled with more entertainment in the square and yet more maypole dancing and chilling out in the lovely spring sunshine. Beltane is my favourite festival and this was a wonderful way to celebrate it.

I was very fortunate today to be able to go to a mind body spirit fair with my Mum up in Newark. Usually I am running a stall at these type of events so it was luxury just to be able to wander around to stalls and enjoy ourselves!
I was also very fortunate to be able to meet my favourite author Kit Berry, her husband Mr B and a friend from the Stonewylde forum, Mystic Angel, all such lovely people.
Kit gave such a warm and interesting talk in the afternoon. The Stonewylde series is amazing, never since reading Jean M Auel’s Clan of the Cave Bear have I been so captivated and completely immersed in a world as I was whilst reading these books. I just didn’t want to stop reading and felt almost bereft after reading the third book and having to return to the real world.
Stonewylde is a magical community and the books are magical in the way that they draw you in and keep you completely enthralled until the last word on the page. Although Stonewylde is a Pagan community you wouldn’t have to be a Pagan to enjoy the way the book celebrates the wonders of nature and the intricacies of the relationships between human beings themselves and the relationship they have with mother earth. Stonewylde is a sanctuary where mother earth is respected and looked after and the people there live in complete harmony with nature.
Kit writes from the heart and that really came through in her talk, she really spoke to us from the heart. She was so warm and honest, speaking about her life and you came away feeling you knew a little bit about the real Kit Berry in that short space of time. Kit had some wonderful inspiring stories to tell and she is somebody you could have sat and listened to for hours- unfortunately we only had an allotted one hour time slot! She wrote those 3 books in 4 months whilst working full time, a feat that i find completely beyond comprehension!!
If anyone reads this and wants to know more then please look at her website www.stonewylde.com, the books really are a fabluous read you won’t be disappointed.
Thank-you Kit for having the privilege of meeting you and more importantly for writing the books in the first place, can’t wait to read the next 2!

Clive and I decided to celebrate Imbolc with a trip to Rollright Stones, near Chipping Norton. We couldn’t believe when we got there that we had never been before, they are absolutely amazing. It is a small stone circle so you can take in the whole circle at once which gives an incredible feel of the place. The stones are said to be from around 3000 BC and there are 3 ley lines that cross at that point, one of which runs for 16miles over to Chipping Warden in Northamptonshire.
The energy we could feel from the stones was really strong, we walked round the circle touching each stone in turn and then stood in the middle and gave our thanks for being able to experience this remarkable place. There was a robin that we followed as he hopped from one stone to the other around the circle. We couldn’t work out what he was trying to tell us unfortunately and I wished I had a longer zoom on my lens!
It was bitterly cold so we didn’t linger as long as we might have done! We will definitely be coming back soon though to absorb more of the earth energy of this magical place.
This last picture is of a stone we thought looked like a magical stone dragon, one of the guardians of the sacred space.
With cold and bright Imbolc blessings

My blog wouldn’t really be complete without a section on migraine so I’m just going to write a few words. Would love to hear from anyone who has this problem in their lives.
I’m still at the moment in a bout which has lasted about 2 weeks with pretty intense pain varying from day to day. I did have one good day last week but seem to back in a cycle again.
One thing I was thinking yesterday is am I worse when the moon is waning? Anybody else got any comments on anything they notice either mentally or physically is different with cycles of the moon?
with blessings

What is paganism? There are hundreds of different versions of what is a Pagan and I have tried to give a more formal, albeit brief, overview on my website. For me it is especially about the wonderful world we have around it, the animals that inhabit our earth alongside us and the people that touch our lives. Nowadays everyone lives life at such a hectic pace we forget what a beautiful world we live in.
We may sometimes forget to marvel at the beauty around us: the half frozen puddle of water, the high wind racing clouds across the sky, that sharpness of cold air when you leave the windows open. They don’t have to be spectacular but they are special, this is our special planet and we should feel it in our hearts to look after the animals, plants trees and all living things. Mother Earth, Gaia, gives life to all beings on this planet and that is such an amazing thing and as such should be respected and treated with reverence.
A pagan lifestyle to me does not mean adhering to a specific religious code but it does mean doing the right thing for my conscience. For me that means being a vegetarian, trying to be a good friend, mother, partner, daughter, having respect and caring for all other life, and appreciating noticing and looking after mother earth. Paganism for me is also about accepting other people’s points of view, it is about finding the spirituality within yourself and trusting in that, not being told what you must or must not do or how you should be doing things in a particular way, it is about finding the path that is right for you and accepting that the path that others take may be slightly different.
Anyway enough of my ramblings. I really started this post just to share a picture I took a few days ago. Its not amazing photography but it does just show us the beauty that is everywhere- even when you are not in the countryside.
The spider had cast a web on my washing line, where he was I don’t know- hiding somewhere warm I expect!
Tread soft upon the earth she is our mother.
Bright and frosty blessings

Hi, welcome to my Blog pages. I am going to use these pages to write about a few things that are going on in my life and photographs that i would like to share with you. I would love it if anyone would like to share their thoughts on this page.
I would like to start off with the visit Clive and I made to the Goddess Hall in Glastonbury. As many of you probably already know, Glastonbury is a place very dear to my heart. The energy is incredible there, partly due to the ley lines that converge on Glastonbury Tor and partly due to the energy emanating from the people that are there. I will no doubt write more on Glastonbury in due course.
The Goddess Temple in Glastonbury is a wonderful oasis of calm. It is a beautiful space, decorated lovingly by all those that support it. It is a fabulous place to go and meditate in and leave the worries of your world behind. These are a few words from the Goddess Temple website, you can read lots more by looking at my links.
In the Glastonbury Goddess Temple we celebrate those Goddesses who are particularly associated with Glastonbury and the Isle of Avalon. Avalon is a magical land where the Goddess has lived from time immemorial and still lives today. It is a place of mystery and imagination, a place where we can let go of the old and assist in birthing the new. The primary Goddesses connected to Glastonbury and Avalon are: the Lady of Avalon (who is Morgen la Fey), the Nine Morgens, Brigit or Bridie of the Sacred Flame, Modron - Great Mother of the lineage of Avallach, Our Lady Mary of Glastonbury, the Crone of Avalon, the Tor Goddess, Lady of the Hollow Hills, Lady of the Lake and the Lady of the Holy Springs and Wells.
The directors of the Glastonbury Goddess Temple recently purchased a new building for larger gatherings and ceremonies. Clive and I were very privileged to be invited down to a day of Goddess talks, information sharing and music. It was so wonderful to be a part of a very special group of people in a very special day. Although for me I was in pain from a bad headache I was able to rise above the pain in a way that is not always possible in my day to day life. Below are a couple of photos of the new hall.
